Privacy notice
This notice describes how LinkCard handles data. Operators should add their legal entity name and contact details before launch.
Account holders
We store the information you enter: name, job title, company, contact details, images, social links, and your account email. You decide which fields appear on your public card; email, phone, WhatsApp and address are hidden until you switch them on.
Visitors to a public card
- We count anonymous events — profile views, link clicks, contact-file downloads and QR/NFC opens — so the card owner can see how their card is used.
- We do not store IP addresses, device identifiers, user-agent strings or cookies for visitors, and we do not build visitor profiles.
- A short-lived, non-reversible rate-limit key derived from the network address is kept for up to a day to prevent abuse. It changes daily and cannot identify a person.
- A profile view is not proof of an NFC tap. Only opens through a physical card's own link are counted as NFC opens.
Retention
Analytics events and audit logs are deleted automatically after the retention periods configured by the operator (defaults: 12 months for events, 24 months for audit logs).
Your choices
- Unpublish or permanently delete your public card at any time from the dashboard.
- Delete your account to remove your profile, card, images and analytics. Physical NFC cards return to inventory.
Wallet providers
If you add your card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, the public fields of your card are included in the pass and are processed by Apple or Google under their own terms.
